LIMITS ON FUNERAL BENEFITS ADJUSTED
According to a letter recently issued by the Ministry of Finance, with effect from 1 October 2003 the combined benefit for funeral and burial expenses under a life policy, injury policy or simple life policy is limited to a maximum of NT$2 million if the insured is a minor under age 14, is mentally incapacitated, or is of reduced mental capacity.
