UPDATE ON DRUG INJURIES RELIEF LAW
According to an announcement dated 20 June 2000 by the Department of Health pursuant to Article 4 Paragraph 3 and Article 13 Item 7 of the Drug Injuries Relief Law, during the first phase of the law application, it will be limited to preparations as defined in Article 6 of the Law Governing Pharmaceuticals Affairs (LPA), but for the time being will not include traditional Chinese medicines experimental drugs as de-fined in LPA Article 5, or medical devices as referred to in LPA Article 13.
