Phoebe started work in the patent profession in 1991, joined Lee and Li in 1996, and is now the head of Chemical Group of Patent Department. Phoebe specializes in chemistry, semiconductor and pharmaceuticals, and mainly handles patent prosecution in Taiwan and China. Phoebe is also well experienced in patent searches, rendering opinions on validity, infringement and freedom to operate, handling invalidation/cancellation cases, and supporting patent infringement and administrative appeal and suit proceedings. Phoebe was in charge of a milestone case regarding patent term extension in Taiwan for a US pharma company, handled many patent infringement litigation cases for domestic and foreign clients in Taiwan and China, and attended interviews and court hearings in China for invalidation and infringement cases. In one of the infringement cases, around USD100 million damages was awarded for a US chemical company.
